Jennifer Harman's SPCA Tournament

April 24, 2007

I volunteered to emcee Jenifer Harman's charity tournament that was held last Friday and was amazed at the turnout. The event was held at Caesar's Palace Las Vegas and was attended by over 200 players. Over $125,000 was raised through tournament buy-ins, rebuys, add-ons, silent and live auctions. Savage Tournaments not only donated its services but I could not resist three autographed items in the silent auction for almost $2,000. The tournament was won by professional Kirk Morrison who received a $10,000 seat to the WSOP Main Event. Third place went to Daniel Negreanu and Kristy Gazes also made the final table. It was a great event and many Las Vegas animals lives will be spared because of the poker community on this day.

Poker in Asia

April 18, 2007

I have spent the last month developing some poker projects in Asia and hope to share them with the world very soon. I truly believe as many others do that if poker catches on in Asia than it could grow the game by double. I have already made a couple trips to Southeast Asia and I have a couple more to make soon. Savage Tournaments was intimately involved with the Singapore event in the early stages and event helped them get their license. We are always looking to do more to make poker a worldwide game.
